Hi, so I'm pretty new to this whole forum thing, but please dont take that as me being a n00b. I know how to work on my Z very well, I know whats its doing, I am a master mechanic, basically I'm not a dumbass. So all that being said, I'm looking to upgrade the injectors on my 91 turbo which still has most of the original injectors and I like to do things right. I've already decided that I'm going with NISMO 615s or 740s, but I have heard a lot of conflicting information about putting new style injector into an old style car and I want to be able to get all my information straight before I go buying parts. I've heard that new style injectors will not fit old style plenums or fuel rails, so I don't know if i should be swapping that stuff over or whatnot. Also I've heard that I need a tune or a chip to run larger injectors which is making me wonder why since I know stock ECU programs are written to be able to adjust fuel based on O2 sensor readings. So all that being said and once those problems are addressed I'm wondering if anyone can offer any suggestions as to a tune and a boost controller which I know I'll be needing as well. Oh also, I'm not looking to make huge power out of this car so if anyone would let me know if I'd be better off using 615s or 740s that would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.
